We don't really celebrate Halloween, but I felt like getting a pumpkin this year and try carving it. With the meat I baked a cake - I had always bought the pumpkin-filling in a can sofar, but it hasn't been that hard to get it out. The cake tastes actually really good, especially with some additonal ice-cream calories:)
- 1 grosse Dose Kuerbisfuellung (ich hab 2 kleine Kuerbisse ausgehoelt)
- 3 Eier, geschlagen
- 3/4 Tasse Zucker
- 1/2 TL Zimt, Muskat, Ingwer, Salz
- 1 Tasse Kondensmilch
Alles zusammenruehren. In Glasform 45 Minuten bei ca. 180 Grad backen. Ich habe zusaetzlich noch eine Art Butterkeksbroesel und geriebene Nuesse vor dem Backen daraufgestreut.
Here the recipe:
- 1 large can pumpkin filling (15 oz)
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt
- 1 can evaporated milk
Mix together in the order listed above. Bake in glass dish at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. I sprinkled additionally graham cracker crumbs and chopped walnuts over it before baking.
