My husband started using our digital camera over the summer a lot. Here is a small selection of who he met at his workplace. Let's start with some mushrooms though. Neither of us knows too much about mushrooms. I find them very interesting to look at though, being so colorful.
Fast jedes mal begegnete er Rehe: einzeln, in Gruppen, klein und gross, jung und alt..
Almost every time he saw some deer: on their own, in groups, small and big, young and old...
Eine zeitlang war auch Reineke Fuchs ein haeufiger Gast. Er hatte sehr starke Räude und war nichts besonders scheu.
For a while this fox was visiting very often. He had mange very badly and was also not shy.
Etwas kleiner, aber nicht weniger interessant: der Herkuleskäfer und Fischfliege (?).
Much smaller, but as interesting: hercules beetle and fishfly (?).
Ein paar Echsen und Schlangen gab es auch zu sehen. Darunter die harmlose "Ringhalsschlange" (richtiger Name??) und auch die giftige Kupferkopfschlange.
There were also a few lizards and snakes around: the harmless ringneck snake and venomous copperhead.
Die Schildkroeten zaehlen wiederum zu den harmlosen, obwohl ich auch von so einer nicht gebissen werden will;)
The turtles are again harmless, even though I wouldn't want to get bitten by one of them either;)
Dieser Schmetterling hat sich ueberraschender Weise auf die Hand meines Mannes gesetzt und ist dort sogar eine Zeitlang geblieben.
This butterfly landed on my husband's hand and even stayed there for quite a while.
